    Information Regarding Contact Lens Fees
All contact lens services, from renewing a current prescription to doing a complex new fitting, represent time and effort on both the part of the doctor and the patient. We charge additional fees for contact lens services. These fees are fair and reasonable and are not covered by vision insurance as part of a routine eye wellness examination.
These fees represent time spent evaluation corneal integrity, reviewing wearing/replacement schedules, evaluating eyelid health, evaluating the contact lens fit to the cornea, adjusting power, fit and rotation of the contacts and in ordering and dispensing trial lenses as needed.
